Cardiff has been the Capitol of Wales since 1935 and was granted City status by Edward VII in 1955. When you visit Cardiff, one of its places to visit is the Castle, its right in the centre of town. 

With lots of history and architecture, the Civic Centre is compared to that of New Delhi or Washington. 

There are many other places to visit such as the National Museum & Gallery, Museum of Welsh Life an exciting open-air museum from the Iron Age to present, the Rugby Hall of Fame, where you can walk the players tunnel or take a guided tour of the Millenium Stadium, for theatre and music lovers, The New World Theatre, St Davids Hall and the Cardiff International Arena are where to head to. 

100 years ago Cardiff was the busiest coal port in the World, the docks have since been transformed into the upmarketCardiff Bay area a super waterfront linked to the heart of the City.
