Sydney
Sydney is one of the oldest cities in Australia and also one of Australia’s most lively and exciting cities. Once again I have been lucky enough to be able to return with tour groups over 8 times in the last 4 years alone.
Area’s well worth seeing are The Rocks, Kings Cross, Bondi Beach, Darling Harbour and Manly, many of the places are covered on a city sightseeing tour, this is well worth going on to get a feel of the city and surrounding area’s
Places we have visited are Sydney Harbour Bridge, some of the people in the groups have walked across on the famous “Bridge Climb”, I’ve Sailed on Sydney Harbour, on a luncheon seafood cruise, enjoying the commentary, whilst passing the Opera House, toured the Opera House and enjoyed afternoon tea on the concourse, I’ve even eaten at “Harry’s Café De Wheels” famous for their Aussie meat pies with pea’s and gravy.
Other places to see are, St Andrews Cathedral 1819 the oldest in Australia, Centre point, Sydney’s AMP tower 980 feet and Centennial Park, the largest in Sydney.
Attractions close to Sydney that I have taken tours to include, Blue Mountains, Hunter Valley Wineries, home to some of the best vineyards in the world and the Koala Park.
Sydney is a poplar destination at any time of the year, and its combination of historic and modern buildings make it an interesting mixture. So with its combination of stunning weather, world class tourist attractions and superb beaches, it welcomes people throughout the year.
