Welcome on Board. A visit to the Queen Mary is a great way to spend half a day. The ship is now a hotel, but you can go on board and have a guided tour of the ship or opt for the self guided tour. As you wander about the ship you soon "get the feel" of how it must have been in its heyday. The cabins and staterooms, where no expense was spared, the opulent bars, where many a cocktail have been drank, to the on-board hospital, you can visit the bridge and ballroom. The radio room is still in operation, but by radio amateurs.
