Niagara Falls

Famous throughout the World are the Niagara Falls. As the tour manager I normally spend 2 nights escorting the groups of holiay makers here, staying at the Sheraton on the Falls hotel, with the holiday makers, which gives us enough time to enjoy its attractions. The Sheraton on the Falls Hotel is set very near to the falls, you can even hear the water of the falls from your room!

The Niagara Falls, or to give them their true names, “The Horseshoe Falls”, which roar over a 52 meter cliff (170 feet), and America’s, “Bridal Veil Falls”, are an amazing sight, there are many ways to view them, the most popular with all the group’s, is by boat, the famous, “Maid of the Mist”, you get a blue plastic mac to wear, people ask me, Mark will I get wet?, my answer, YES very wet!. A Helicopter flight is the best view of the falls by day.

By night, I think it has to be from the Revolving Restaurant in the Skylon Tower. Other ways to see the falls, is by Cable Car, a Walk behind the falls or to stand close by them and feel the force of the water at Table Rock.

It really is “A PEOPLE THING”
