Monaco
MONACO
The Principality of Monaco is a must do for visitor’s. In the height of the summer or in the winter season, I manage to take up to 3 different tour group’s each week to this amazing destination. Once in Monaco I give the holiday makers a short walking tour, and I arrange to get in front of the Palace in time for the changing of the guards ceremony, the main one takes places at 11.55hrs, with a marching band, afterwards the group are either free to wander around and sightsee at their own leisure or join me, the Cathedral is a main draw, a beautiful white building, where Grace Kelly got married, you can visit inside and view graves of the Royal Family. Another famous attraction is the Jacques Cousteau’s, Oceanarium, here it is full of not only all types of sea creatures, but also with the equipment that Jacques used on his under water adventures. The wax works that depict all of the Principalities, Royal Family, both living and past, is a way to spend an hour or so, as is the “Grace Kelly Story”, which tells her life story. Tours of the Palace are available and at different times of the day, are conducted in different languages. A small land train can be taken to view the rest of Monaco and the Marina area, and the “train” also takes in part of the circuit used for the famous, “Monaco Grand Prix”, as well as passing the Casino in Monte Carlo.
It really is “A PEOPLE THING”
