Las Vegas
Las Vegas another of my favorite places to visit, whether you gamble or not, there is plenty to do in this fascinating city.
Las Vegas is really pretty compact, with many of the attractions in the central area, along the Strip, and also Downtown.
I find it’s best to explore the “Strip” by foot, although the length is deceptive, it takes longer to walk than you would think, so is best you walk one way and catch a bus or the monorail, back. During your “walk”, where else can you watch dancing Fountains (Bellagio), view an erupting Volcano (Mirage), or watch Pirates & Sirens entertain you on board a ship (T.I).
Downtown’s Fremont Street Experience, which is a pedestrian only area, is a fantastic light and sound show, on
the hour, and a different show each time. If its cheap food and drink, you’re looking for, then this is the place for the 99c Alcoholic Cocktail, 99c Shrimp Cocktail or 99c Hot Dog.
The themed hotels are also worth visiting, inside, as well as viewing them, from the outside. The shops at
Ceaser’s Palace, gondola rides at the Venetian, and the streets of Paris are just a few of the indoor attractions that can be enjoyed, day or night.
