New Year in Lake Garda 2007
On New Years day, some very hardy people have a swim in the Lake, us, we had a boat tour for a couple of hours.

Again this year I travelled with the group to Riva Del Garda and the Hotel Liberty. I flew with 1 group from Heathrow and after meeting up with the members of the tour at arrivals we boarded the coach and arrived in Riva del Garda where i met my second group who had flown from Liverpool Airport.
This year the groups again had a great time, visiting Venice, Verona and the Lake Shore, everyone as usual gets on together, making the tours fun. I did have to wait for Clive on one or two occasions but he has promised not to be late ever again!, just too many photo’s at each stop.
The Arrival of the New Year was heralded by fireworks over the lake and by the Hotel Liberty in Riva Del Garda with Procecco and Panetone, after we had finished their fantastic 8 course New Years Eve Gala Dinner.
But remember it’s a tradition in Italy to wear red under wear on New Years Eve.
