Hong Kong

Where East really does meet West. I have spent a lot of time here with groups and Hong Kong is one of my favorite places to return to. The things that I look forward to seeing again and again, are the Star Ferry, crossing from Tsim Sha Tsui to Central, riding the Peak Tram, and of course shopping in the day & night markets. Hong Kong is one of the safest cities in the world, so, for single travelers, it’s a place that you can relax in.

Hong Kong has a vast array of hotels and guest houses, some 5 star, like the Peninsular Hotel, their taxi’s are all green Rolls Royce’s, and is “THE PLACE” to have Afternoon Tea.
The group’s that I escort, usually stay, either at the Eaton or Guangdong hotels, both have comfortable rooms with air-conditioning, which is nice to come back to after a day of sightseeing, and both have really friendly staff. As I stay in Hong Kong for anything up to 3 months, I have got to know it extremely well, this helps, when it comes to showing the clients Hong Kong’s terrific way of life. Stanley Market is a great place to start, as is Repulse Bay, with Hong Kong’s most expensive golf course, and I usually end the tour riding Hong Kong's Famous Peak Tram to the top of the Peak, all this we do on a city sightseeing tour of the island. Getting around Hong Kong by yourself is pretty easy too; buses, trams, taxis, and the underground are easy to use and cheap compared to the UK. Food is normally what’s on people’s minds whilst on holiday and for seafood lovers, its fab, fish of every description, oysters, and crab, Lamma Island is renowned for the seafood restaurants, and is a 1 hour boat ride away, for the more adventurous, snake soup, and hot pot, nothing like our hot pot and if that’s no good then there are Italian restaurants and steak restaurants to tempt the taste-buds.

So why not join me on one of my escorted holidays to Hong Kong.

It really is “A PEOPLE THING”
