Grand Canyon

The Grand Canyon is without doubt one of the most breathtaking natural attractions, America has, it defiantly is, one of the “Wonders of the World”, I have traveled here many times, and on each occasion, it’s shear size and depth takes my breath away.
When I saw it for the first time, one mile deep and almost 20 miles wide, I found it hard to comprehend and couldn’t get over, that it was all made by the Colorado River that seemed so small.
I’ve been taking groups to the South and West rims, by Helicopter, either landing for a picnic, inside the Canyon, or, landing at a western ranch with the opportunity to go horse-riding or by twin engine aircraft to the South Rim for a journey by coach to view it, from some fantastic view points.
The Grand Canyon became a World Heritage Site in 1979, and is a protected area.
