Bourton-on-the-Water
Bourton-on-the-Water is a picturesque village with the River Windrush running through it. The village has Cotswold cottages by the village green with some now open as tea rooms to relax in and take a break whilst enjoying the village scenery.
Bourton-on-the-Water has a long history with many of the cottages dating back three hundred years and some to Elizabethan times.
Whenever I take groups to Bourton on the Water, attractions to visit, include a model village, which is an amazing exact replica of the village only 1/9th the size, Birdland, set in a seven-acre woodland with rivers and ponds with many species of birds, including flamingo’s, storks, pelicans and penguins and a car museum with a collection of cars and memorabilia from TV shows and films.
