Cheddar is the town from which the name of Britain’s most famous cheese comes from. You can still watch real cheddar cheese being made. Other old fashioned shops in the town worth a look are the cooper, a potter and a fudge kitchen. 

When we visit Cheddar the most impressive part of the tour is the drive through Cheddar Gorge. Beneath the gorge are theCheddar Caves which you can visit during your free time here, during the tour you’ll be lucky enough to witness the way theunderground rivers have eroded the rock to form these chambers, amazing features shaped like organ pipes andwaterfalls.
