Planning a Christmas holiday can be a little daunting but also a lot of fun.
There are some great destinations now, including, Australia and Thailand for some winter sun, America for a City break and of course Europe.
For a Christmas that really lives up to the hype, think New York. Ice skating in either Central Park or at Rockefeller plaza, looking at the fantastic window displays along 5th Avenue, or even visiting Father Christmas in his Grotto at Macy’s, the World’s Largest Department store.
In Europe, Austria is another country that’s popular, blue skies and plenty of snow, make it a lovely winter wonderland. The Christmas market in Salzburg, candlelit walks in the Salzkammergut and Horse drawn sleigh rides make Christmas special.

Enjoy my Christmas pages and photos of some of the places I and many holiday makers have enjoyed Christmas over the years.
It really is “A PEOPLE THING”
